About IM Hiking

My name is Isaac! I am the founder of IM Hiking and the outdoor enthusiast who wants to help you get out into nature and exploring Cornwall!

I set up my business, IM Hiking, so that I could escape from working behind a desk and make getting out on adventures as my job. I grew up in the forests and hills of the south downs spending weekends riding across their span and on weekdays running through them, but I have been visiting Cornwall for over 20 years and got the opportunity to move here a few years ago.

Cornwall has some of the rawest and most exposed conditions in the winter and most beautiful warmth in the summer and I love to hike in it all. The challenge in the winter and the friendly warmth and nature that appears in the summer, it is never the same day outside!

I have a long history of exploring the outdoors, I am a Qualified level 3 Outdoor first Aider, and most importantly I love sharing the best of the area around my home! I will guide you along routes, support you when you find sections challenging, provide kit suggestions and form pointers to help you feel more comfortable on the trail! I may even bring along the odd snack to share!

No matter who you are, wether you are young or young at heart; inexperienced or a seasoned pro; a local or a locum-local it would be great to meet you and take you on an adventure!
